The scanning services provided by digidoc cover a wide universe of documental typologies, from bulk scanning of current documents, conducive to its dematerialization and eventual transmission in electronic format to its specialized capture of historical archives; books, loose documents, objects – enabling its conservation. In the majority of cases this typology is not verifiable due to circumstances namely, Conservation, value and rarity.Historical Archive Scanning: Heritage Preservation
The scanning of this typology is done using state of the art technology and through high resolution photographic capture with non-invasive robotic equipment assuring its preservation and integrity.
Procedures of Robotic Photographic Capture service:
- Transport to Digidoc for document scanning(*)
- Selection and preparation of all documentation which will form part of the initial check of type, its format, its state of conservation and sequence
- Preparation and photographic capture.

- Pre-crop, Auto-cropping, deskewing, despeckling
- Background removal
- Original text enhancement
- Image segmentation
- Super Batch - Sequential processing in 3 steps
- Template creation
- Template execution in the output
- Quality control - Transport to the client's premises of the scanned documents
- Safety copy of the rendered services in Cd, DvD or external disk support.
The result of this service is supplied in the most common formats accepted by the archive norms including the availability of a PDF file with printed optical character recognition and allowing complete document text search.

Bulk scanning: Current archive
This scanning service is used to recover documents and to make them available on time in a rapid search and consultation system of documents, avoiding its physical handling, freeing organizations so they can concentrate on their business.
The legality of digital representation has been continuously assessed, applied on a case by case basis enabling the option of destroying the physical document, post-scanning, according to the established law and ensuring compliance with the archive norms.
- Scanning of large volumes of documents

- Collection and transportation of the archive to be treated to digidoc
- Selection and preparation of all documentation which will be part of the initial type check, its format, its conservation state and its sequence
- Removal of staples and other elements, post stretching of documents with integral preservation of all documental units (lot) and its order in the sequence
- Placement of the respective tabs, when necessary to carry out the work
- Preparation and scanning of documents in B/W or Color
- Indexation of the documental unit
- Quality control
- Return of the treated documents to its original order and format
- Transport to the client's premises of the treated archive
- Integration of the documental units in the existing GED system.
